Adult Basic Education

Improve your reading, writing and math skills to prepare you for our GED® or High School Diploma programs.  You can enroll in this program anytime.  Basic assessment required for placement.

Basic Academics

This class is designed for individuals who want to learn to read or improve their reading skills.  This class is offered in partnership with READ Ventura County and the City of Simi Valley Library’s reading program for adults.  Students work one-on-one  with volunteer tutors to meet their personal learning goals.

Literacy Tutor Training

Learn to teach others one-on-one by participating as a tutor in the adult basic academics program offered in partnership with READ Ventura County and the City of Simi Valley Library. For more information, call the library’s adult reading program office at 805.677.7160.
