Esthetician Certificate Program

SICE currently offers a 600 hour esthetician Certificate Program in compliance with the California Board of Barbering and Cosmetology’s regulations.  All currently enrolled SICE esthetician students are being provided with lessons in the topics of tinting and perming lashes and brows to meet the new educational requirements that will go into effect in January 2022 per Senate Bill 108.

About Our Esthetician Certificate Program

Simi Institute's Esthetics Certificate Program teaches the fundamentals of skin care. Students will take a series of courses to learn procedures for skin analysis, performing a variety of facials, chemical exfoliation, waxing, the use of galvanic and high frequency machines, paraffin wax, and basic make-up applications. A culminating state board class will prepare students for the passage of the written and practical California State Board Esthetician Licensure Exams. All of our students are provided with a course schedule that allows them to efficiently complete all operations and hour requirements set forth by the California Board of Barbering and Cosmetology. Advanced students will perform a variety of skin care services in our full-service, on-site salon. To complete the Esthetician Certificate program, students must complete 3 course levels, a minimum of 600 hours and all required practical operations.*
