Kit & Supplies Pick-Up Event

Room 108

Students are required to pick up kits and supplies on the main SICE campus at the time assigned to their level. 

Please Note: No additional pick-up dates will be scheduled. Failure to retrieve your kit could result in non-participation for the term.

Crossover Program

Students must provide at least one valid California State Cosmetology, Barber, Esthetician, or Manicurist License in order to enroll in our crossover programs.

Related Science (Health & Safety) is the only Cosmetology program course conducted online.

Barber, Cosmetologist, Esthetician, and Manicurist classes are conducted IN-PERSON ONLY.

Manicurist Certificate Program

SICE’s currently offers a 400-hour Manicurist Certificate Program in compliance with the California Board of Barbering and Cosmetology’s regulations.  Our current program also meets all of the program requirements set forth by Senate Bill 803, which takes effect in January 2022.

Simi Institute's Manicurist Certificate Program teaches the fundamentals of nail technology. Students will take a series of courses to learn procedures for manicuring, pedicuring, nail tips, nail enhancements, gels, massage, paraffin wax, and advanced nail art. A culminating state board class will prepare students for the passage of the written and practical California Cosmetology State Board Manicurist Licensure Exams. All of our students are provided with a course schedule that allows them to efficiently complete all operations and hour requirements set forth by the California Board of Barbering and Cosmetology. To complete the Manicuring Certificate program, students must complete 2 course levels, minimum of 400 hours and all required practical operations.*

Prerequisite: Related Science (Health & Safety)

Course Fee: $1,050 per level

Note: We currently do not offer an evening/weekend Manicurist Certificate Program.
