Medical Terminology

This course teaches the language of medicine applicable to all health care occupations, including basic medical word roots, combining forms, prefixes, suffixes, abbreviations, pronunciation.

Course includes non-technical explanations and provides students with a working knowledge of terms used in anatomy, physiology, pathology, clinical procedures, laboratory tests.

Prerequisites: 18 years or older; speak, read, write English at the 11th grade US high school level.
